How to take care of your jewelry:

Lieberdesign collections features pieces constructed in sterling silver and finished with sterling silver, 9k gold and 9k rose gold plating with a special coating on top to help maintain the plating longer.

As a general rule, you should always be diligent about looking after your jewelry,whatever its compostion. Pieces of jewelry are very delicate and valuble, and so you should always treat them with the utmost care.

We recommend cleaning your plated jewelry with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals,jewelry cleaners,or polishing cloths, as these will affect the finish.

To keep your jewelry from tarnishing we highly reccomend keeping your pieces in a plastic bag or airtight container when not in use. Over time, metal can slightly lose color from contact with skin oils and by exposure to various enviormental elements.

Avoid contact with cosmetic products that could damage its color. Creams and perfumes can make piece darken or lose its shine, as a result of chemical abrasion.

Avoid wearing your jewelry in the swimming pool, while exercising or playing sports. Chlorine and related chemicals can discolor and severely damage jewelry as well as loosen stones and settings.

Limit contact with rough surfaces and other metals in order to avoid scratching and changes in color.

Limit rough use and sleeping with the jewelry to slow down the natural process of "wear and tear" and protect the finished on the piece.
